DIA3C/3000 gantry cutting machine to cut blocks of granite to get semifinished product of desired height and thickness.
The main structure is made by two columns supporting a mobile bridge on which a spindle carrying disk shifts. Machine complete with a block-carrying trolley. Columns, bridge and spindle are made in cast iron to have high stability and long lasting.

the bridge moves vertically on guides, through auger screws duly dimensioned and protected. The cutting motion is controlled by an instrument and it can be carried-out by different incremental cutting or by a single cutting. Two safety limit switches limit the maximum and minimum run.
The spindle moves on the bridge using a pinion/rack system with possibility to adjust the cutting speed by inverter. The run is electronically controlled by the instrument (software limit switch). Two safety limit switches limit the maximum and minimum run.
The block-carrying trolley moves on rails through a motor reduction gear controlled by inverter, with positioning and control electronically managed by the instrument. Two safety electric limit switches limit the maximum and minimum run.
The controls board is a watertight type, it contains all the operational controls and the programming instrument, which controls and manage the positioning of the axes through incremental encoders.

The operator can program up to 10 different translation measures of the trolley, each one of them can be repeated 99 times. It is possible to set different cutting increments in the 2 directions, and it is also possible to set up inertia moments and decelerations to get precise positioning. A set of electric safeties and machine’s stop of end of the program allow to cut the block even without the operator’s presence
