CN5 Cutting Center

Bridge cutting-contouring machine, marble and granite version, suited to carry-out squared and shaped cuts with high precision and great simplicity.
The machine is composed of the following main frames:
- Bridge
- Disk-carrying spindle
- Bench

Entirely made in electro welded steel, duly dimensioned and treated to get an high resistance to mechanical stresses, given the huge axis sliding speed.
All sliding parts are working in oil bath, they are covered and protected with bellows or with stainless steel casings.
The control board is placed at the ground floor level, it contains the main control units, while the push-button panel equipped with keyboard and touch-screen colour graphic monitor is held by an articulated arm easily handling in the working area during programs set-up.
The machine can be used just as bridge cutter to carry-out processing such as:
- Multiple cuts
- Geometrical figures
- Polygons
- Rectilinear shaping

In a quick and precise way, or it can works as contouring machine to carry-out processing such as:
- Bath, shower top, ecc.
- Holes
- Writings
Easily adaptable, this machine is managed by a 5-axis numeric control, with axis linear interpolation according to the complexity of the processing being carried-out.
Axis motions are given through brushless motors coupled with high-precision reduction gears slack zero sliding on linear guides working on ball re-circle, and on rectified ball re-circle precision screws, replacing the former pinion-rack coupling in favour of increase of speed and precision.

In addition to the 3 traditiona axis:
- spindle forward/backward
- bridge right/left
- spindle high/low

the machine will be also equipped with:
- blade rotation axis 0° ÷ 180° ÷ 0°
- blade inclination axis 0° ÷ 90°

All processing can be realized through a set of macro and through a last-generation software extremely congenial and intuitive, allowing to carry-out a set of checks such as:
- graphic simulation of tool route
- video display of the kind of processing made so avoiding any eventual mistakes before to start with the cut.

The machine is also equipped with a software conceived for automatic shaping.
A set of electric and mechanic safeties allow to work in automatic mode even without the presence of the operator.
Concluding, a set of photocells devices protect the danger area around the working head.
